What type of face paints do you use?
I only use the highest grade cosmetic face paints used by Professionals - such as Paradise, TAG, Diamond FX and Snazaroo, which are all FDA approved for use on the face and body and meet with the highest Australian standards. These paints wash off easily, however some of the colours may stain the skin slightly. Not to worry, it’s not permanent. All you need is a wet face washer with a little bit of soap and wipe the area clean.
What are your fees?
My fee for 1 face painter in the Sunshine Coast area for 1 hour is $130, 2 hours $180, 3 hours $240, all prices include G.S.T. If you need a price on more than 3 hours then please give me a call.
Is extra charged for travel?
I'm willing to travel anywhere, but my main focus area is the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Noosa. If you live outside the Caloundra to Noosa area then a fee of $30 for every hour extra travelled will be charged.
Does the artist hold a blue card?
Yes, I hold a current blue card.
How many faces can you paint in an hour?
Well that depends on the type of event - if it's a private party such as a birthday party where there is a limited amount of faces to be painted, I can paint 10 - 15 full face intricate designs in the hour, more if there are smaller designs for the hand, arm or cheek. I can tailor these designs to what you need on the day depending on numbers etc. If it's a big event where the number of faces is not known, I can offer face, hand and arm designs that are quick but still look good, the quick designs help to get through any line up quicker and guarantees that more kids get a chance to be painted.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes.
What do you need for your work area?
I come fully equiped with my own table and chair and everything I need to make your children’s faces look amazing. All that I need from you is a well shaded area for me to set up and people to paint.
When will you arrive at the event?
I will arrive 10 - 15 minutes before so I can have everything set up and ready to start on time.
Is face painting for everyone?
Face paint is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Children with allergies or sensitive skin may not be suitable for face painting, unless a test patch is done first. Children who are sick or have open sores etc can't be painted - in some cases an arm design can be offered instead.
Do you dress up?
I come dressed in a fairy costume .. or I can dress up to match a special theme.
What if we require 2 face painters?
A second face painter can be supplied subject to availability. Please make sure you request the second face painter when you make your enquiry. The fee for 2 face painters is $200 for the first hour and then $100 for every hour after that plus GST.
